SAWARI (1) Fleet Life Extension Program – New Shipyard Extension

Project Description

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company will design, construct, operate and maintain a new shipyard extension at the existing King Faisal Naval Base in Jeddah.

The contract involves site investigation, design and construction of specialist repair workshops including procurement, installation and commissioning of specialist equipments, followed by all relevant operation and maintenance works.

Scope includes the design and construction of major marine works for dredging, quay walls construction and infrastructure in support of the shipyard extension including the construction of a major electrical substation.

Scope also includes the design, fabrication, commissioning and maintenance of two 8,500 tonne floating dry docks.
